Pieces of Eight
The year is 1720 and the Caribbean teems with whispers of fortune and peril. As the sun rises over the horizon, casting a golden sheen upon the azure waters, Morgan and Bartholomew along with their fleets have captured the island of Tortuga along with what is known now as Haiti and Dominican Republic. In this time it is simply known as The Pirate Isle, with Tortuga being its crown jewel. Morgan and Bartholomew now look to form The First Pirate Court, built up by Privateers, Captains, Merchants and their crews. Including any stowaways or those wishing to embrace this way of life, what they refer to as “The Code”.
Even if the enemies of The Code are trying to snuff out the light of piracy once and for all, those who join The First Pirate Court stand tall to those who dare to challenge their freedom, ready to defend their way of life with unwavering courage and fierce determination.
The mighty fleets of European empires clash with the cunning tactics of free-spirited pirates, and the waters run thick with the tales of bravery, betrayal, and boundless ambition. Port towns bustle with merchants and scoundrels alike, each with their own secrets and schemes. Places shrouded in mystery and brimming with ancient treasures await those with the courage to seek them out.
