Tide of War

“Tide of war” is a LARP for 39 players set in the Netherlands in April 1945 organized by Gavin Treep, Willemijn K. and Tim Münch Wießner, assisted by a team of amazing people (full list in design document). This LARP tells stories of war, facism and resistance against oppression. While the LARP tries to create a realistic view of events that goes beyond black-and-whites, the underlying message is one of antifascism and anti-war.
While the story is set in the Netherlands, and gives a unique perspective of the inhabitants of the flooded Polder, the story of occupation and resistance will ring familiar to other Europeans and others who have looked into WW2 history.
