The Last Resort

The Last Resort is a standalone small event running from 23-25 January 2026 at Wilderhope Manor, Shropshire, UK.
A loose sequel to A Court of Lies (shortlisted for Small LARP of the Year 2025 at the UK LARP Awards), The Last Resort is a rule-lite, no combat fantasy/mystery event. Like its predecessor, players will arrive on a mysterious demiplane where all is not as it seems, and can choose to try to solve the mystery, be a part of the story, and/or even make their own decisions about how it all ends!
You are welcome to bring your character from any other fantasy LARP system (adapted for our lite rules systems and game mechanics) or bring a completely original character just for the event! You’ll be attending via an interplanar portal, so think of this as a LARP holiday… with added mild peril! You absolutely do not need to have attended A Court of Lies to enjoy this event as it’s a standalone story on a brand new plane.
Genre-wise, expect fantasy, mystery, spooky (not horror), with a dash of ominous spirituality.
