Demeter II

Welcome on the Demeter.

Bram Stokers classic gothic horror novel covers many different themes and subjects, from suppressed sexuality, death and decay, to the clash of science and belief and the modern versus the ancient. 

The last voyage of the Demeter is told in chapter 7 of Dracula using excerpts from the Captain’s logbook and newspaper clippings. We have taken this part of the story to tell our very own version of it … maybe this is what really happened on the Demeter?

Demeter is a four-day Gothic Horror Sailing larp, where you can experience the „real“ story behind Bram Stoker’s Dracula traveling from Transylvania to England.

The ship will leave from Kappeln in Northern Germany, close to the Danish border.
