Against the dying of the Light: Volunteers

This is a game set 3 years before our first Against the Dying of the Light game we ran in 2024. This game focuses on a slightly different aspect of the game world- the Army Evacuation Camps.

The year is 2032.

Seven years ago the zombie virus pandemic brought human civilisation to a grinding halt. Our game participants play characters living in Aberdeen Evacuation Camp. Food and medicine is becoming scarce as the stockpiles deplete, and corrupt soldiers make their own lives more comfortable at the expense of the civilians. Life is grim, but perhaps there is a way to improve your situation?

Volunteer- they say- it will be life changing.

You have volunteered (perhaps unwillingly) for one of three training pathways: MEDICS, SCAVENGERS, and RECRUITS. These groups will explore different aspects of the Volunteer programme, and have different levels of physical activity.
