DESCRIPTION:The Last Resort is a standalone small event running from 23-25 January 2026 at Wilderhope Manor\, Shropshire\, UK. \n\n\n\nA loose sequel to A Court of Lies (shortlisted for Small LARP of the Year 2025 at the UK LARP Awards)\, The Last Resort is a rule-lite\, no combat fantasy/mystery event. Like its predecessor\, players will arrive on a mysterious demiplane where all is not as it seems\, and can choose to try to solve the mystery\, be a part of the story\, and/or even make their own decisions about how it all ends!  \n\n\n\nYou are welcome to bring your character from any other fantasy LARP system (adapted for our lite rules systems and game mechanics) or bring a completely original character just for the event! You’ll be attending via an interplanar portal\, so think of this as a LARP holiday… with added mild peril! The winter population of Elysium is small\, consisting of citizens and of newly arrived refugees. \n\n\n\nUncertainty hangs heavy. The outposters try to keep daily life going\, but food is beginning to run low and spare parts are becoming hard to come by. Most of the effort now goes into keeping the outpost functioning\, both practically and socially. \n\n\n\nThe larp is about these days of waiting\, worry\, and everyday struggle.
