Winter is over and those aligned with the rebel William Marshal have weathered a long year: exiled for voicing opinions against King John\, returning from the holy land with little to come back to or simply so poor that the life of an outlaw is no hardship\, since their meeting in Arundel their ranks have swelled a little but it is a rare fool who declares themself for Richard’s heir outright. \n\n\n\nSome members of the secret rebellion returned home to villages or estates that still quietly supported them\, waiting on news and the call to act. DESCRIPTION:It is a Season of Scrutiny. \n\n\n\nThe Gullet is an inlet from the Shaper’s Sea on the coast of Uasa\, choked with hidden sandbanks\, weeds\, mist\, and worse dangers still. \n\n\n\nOnly the Pilots of Bealcaoch know their way through the Gullet\, and one of their number must be on every ship\, boat\, or dinghy going past the cliffs that guard the entrance to the bay. However\, word has spread that an increasing number of ships are ignoring this rule\, and attempting the trip without a licensed Pilot. \n\n\n\nUnder pressure from the Pilots Guild\, House Velvet Mist\, and the families of those who have perished in the Gullet in such trips Rider Lachtna of Scornach has hired Cumhacht na Réige to set up an encampment by the dock and ensure only legitimate trips are allowed embark. As the band sets up their camp on the 34th Spring\, 802 TR\, several days of scrutiny await them.

SUMMARY:Blood Red Roses: To Bind the Brave
DESCRIPTION:Northern Theasleigh is crossed by thoroughfares between field and hedgerow\, forest and meadow. Many use these routes to avoid the Imperial roads for lawful business; traders cut the distance between markets\, soldiers and squires perform their master’s business\, whilst villeins and freemen walk them searching for trade. Others use them for more nefarious purposes; Men-at-arms and nobles use them to travel free from prying eyes that might report on their movements whilst footpads and cutthroats roam the back routes of Algundy seeking prey.
