DESCRIPTION:In an attempt to quell the in-fighting between The Dark Temple and The Pyramid of Light\, The Council has come to the decision that The Protectorate must erect a mighty ‘Illuminating Resistance Node’\, Or IRN Dome for short. The IRN Dome is envisaged as a mighty ward\, which sits above The Protectorate and causes anything tainted by necromancy to glow brightly. This is to prevent any further items tainted with necromancy from entering The Protectorate\, and to highlight any items which may have snuck their way in already\, and cut off any infiltrations that Malice may have made into The Protectorate already. \n\n\n\nJust one problem – Foxglove is a STICKLER for gaining consent where this ward would overlap the borders of our neighbours. The ward as it stands will overlap the borders of The Oakwoods and The Iron League to the East and with The Haunted Hills to the North. \n\n\n\nWith patrols at a premium\, a patrol of low level Auxiliaries has been assembled to go and diplome with our friends and neighbours in The Haunted Hills to ask their permission to allow The IRN Dome to overlap into their lands. The inhabitants of The Haunted Hills are mostly Orcish\, and in many cases former Protectorate members who have left the area in favour of more Orcish ways of life. \n\n\n\nWe envision that this mission will require tact\, cunning\, and a knowledge of how Orcish culture works… Foxglove will not give their permission without the consent of our friends and neighbours in The Haunted Hills… But without The IRN Dome Malice can effectively sneak whatever they want across our border without us knowing…

DESCRIPTION:Nestled in the rolling plains and quiet woodlands of Foracci lies Our Lady of Pride\, the fortification that keeps Sarvos safe from land-based barbarians. Rising solid and yet stately\, the castle is a shining example of Vigilance and Virtue. \n\n\n\nOur Lady of Pride is not where this event is held. \n\n\n\nMiles down the coast on the island of Cigno squats a square stone tower. It has the appearance of ancient white granite\, but a scratch of the fingernail reveals that this is only a convincing veneer. During the day it mostly sits silent\, but at night the tower comes alive with an ever-rotating host of Sarvos’ shining stars. Socialites and politicians rub shoulders with smugglers and professional rogues as conversation flows like wine. Artists and theatricals unveil their most risqué works\, free from the censure that might meet them in the outside world. \n\n\n\nWelcome then\, to Our Lady of Audacity. \n\n\n\nOn this occasion\, Our Lady of Audacity plays host to The Socialite Network\, the Empire’s foremost union for cicisbeo. They are celebrating their first anniversary as well as their first major success\, as soon the Open Fan Cicisbeo Academy will open its doors for the first time. Prince Bianca Legna di Sarvos is a great believer that having great Pride means one should throw great parties\, and she has invited every cicisbeo in Anvil to join her – and their friends\, as long as those friends aren’t boring. \n\n\n\nUnfortunately\, Bianca is also currently suffering under an Unfettered Anarchy curse\, so her long-suffering Master of Protection has taken over to do the actual organising. Tellany di Mestra promises canapés\, wine\, and cake\, as well as precious diversions like raffles and music. Bianca meanwhile promises a new theatre piece\, something to eclipse her last show – the Cursed Play that caused mass havoc in Anvil last year. Tellany laughs nervously\, and promises that it definitely won’t be as dangerous as that. Probably.
