DESCRIPTION:“Several Imperial Guard units are recovering and retraining on the Agri World ‘Trebatha’ in the Tertius sub-sector. \n\n\n\nThe local Planetary Defence Force are few and poorly trained and wary of the ‘professional’ Imperial Guard. \n\n\n\nAn Inquisitor comes to visit from the ‘Ordo Hereticus’. \n\n\n\nEveryone understandably is on edge.” \n\n\n\nIn common with most UKLTA events this will be an ‘open world’ LARP where the players are presented with a situation once in the in-character area and left to roleplay through it organically. We do not run rigidly structured ‘linears’\, the players may freely move about and the game and crew will adapt to them. \n\n\n\nThis LARP is primarily PvE (Player vs Environment) as opposed to PvP (Player vs Player)\, not to say there won’t be some inter-group strife to resolve but the game is written to be primarily collaborative. How this plays out is down to the players. We will have a dedicated crew to provide opposition and sundry non-player characters. \n\n\n\nThere will be a mix of problem solving and tactical ranged combat using the UKLTA’s safe and proven outdoor Laser-Tag technology to resolve ranged combat. While there will be some LARP-safe weapons in the game\, it is essentially non-contact. There are very few traditional LARP ‘calls’ as the Laser-Tag tech handles counting hits and so on. \n\n\n\nPlayer characters will mostly be Imperial Guard\, from Tanith\, Cadian\, Krieg\, or Catachan regiments\, but can also include Tech Priest\, Psyker\, Navigator\, Commissar\, Rogue Trader\, Adeptus Arbites\, Ecclesiatical Priest\, Adepta Sororitas\, and of course the Inquisitor.
