DESCRIPTION:A Foot On The Stairs: Comfort and Joy is a Live Action Roleplay (LARP) set in 1930. Taking place 6-8 December 2024 at Ingestre Hall in Staffordshire\, it’s a highly immersive game that invites you to step back in time and become someone else for the weekend – a Lord\, a Lady\, a valet\, a maid\, a wealthy socialite\, or an utter disgrace. If you enjoy the idea of scandal\, gossip\, mystery\, social climbing\, and social commentary\, this could be the LARP for you. You could think of it as a live version of Downton Abbey\, Gosford Park\, or Upstairs\, Downstairs. There have been previous A Foot On The Stairs events\, and some characters will be returning from these games\, but you don’t have to have played before.
