This larp has 16 characters\, in-game is about 50 hours long and participants are required to be at the larp venue for 3 full days: parts of 4 days and 3 nights. English runs (everything in english) are the first\, 22nd to 25th of August and possibly the third for non males\, 28th to 31st of August. The larp is designed and produced by Atropos originally and it has been run 6 times in Sweden.

DESCRIPTION:The war is about to end. \n\n\n\nThe dust settles on the battlefield\, as King Victor Redmoor is caught inside Moon Keep on the losing side of the war. \n\n\n\nThe negotiations\, the tears and the drama are bound to follow while everybody struggles – some for justice\, some for revenge\, and all for their future. \n\n\n\nYou will play as either a noble or a commoner in a low-fantasy Nordic larp. There is a central conflict with two sides of players – one part has lost the war\, and the other has won. But the essential elements are the personal stories across the houses and factions of the war. The custom designed setting is merely a framework and contains both matriarchal\, patriarchal and egalitarian Houses. So despite the medieval feel\, your experience won’t be limited by the gender of your character. \n\n\n\nThis larp has its own setting\, but it is inspired by Game of Thrones\, The Tudors and a dash of Shakespeare.

DESCRIPTION:Acheron is a small larp set in the Lotka-Volterra universe\, organised by Atropos & Sebastian Utbult in the July of 2024\, and played at Tredje Våningen in Gothenburg\, Sweden (the site of earlier Atropos larps like Androids and Collateral Emotions). \n\n\n\nAt LV: Acheron\, you will\, over the course of a day\, live the life of a group of people stationed together in an all-too-small space. You are there to analyse alien signals and guide the surface team\, but you will also argue over incomplete card decks\, deal with daily routines and try not to get on each other’s nerves in such a tight\, isolated space. You will be playing either members of the “military” MISCON team\, handling planning communications\, tactics\, geospatial guidance and signal intelligence for the surface combat team\, or members of a scrambled-together collection of scientists tasked with supplying crucial knowledge of Enemy technology\, behaviour\, and capabilities – and attempting to codebreak the enemy communications. \n\n\n\nLotka-Volterra is a “naturalistic” science fiction setting\, in which a technologically superior and incomprehensible alien enemy has almost wiped humanity out. A few survivors hide in an underground colony and wage a slow and clandestine war of resistance against the alien threat\, while teetering on the edge of collapse themselves as supplies run low. The larp Lotka-Volterra was run in an underground bunker in 2018\, and this larp is “companion piece” to that larp – but you do not need to have played the original larp in order to play this one. \n\n\n\nThe larp is designed for roughly 20 pre-written characters and takes a full day including briefings\, on-site familiarisation\, breaks etc\, and is designed to be run multiple times. Through various means you will be given the tools to perform your specific tasks and responsibilities\, with design focus on making you feel competent\, knowledgeable and in control. \n\n\n\nAcheron is a larp of sharp contrast – the stress and pressure of “mission-time\,” and the anxiety\, interpersonal friction and soul-crushing boredom of waiting.

A world where superpowers are real and the fight between good and evil is ever-present. Heroes like Neutron Fist\, Doc Justice & Plasmoid battle the schemes of Lord Laser\, Post Mortem and a host of other villains. But what about the young people who are not quite heroes… yet? All teenagers must deal with changes both physical and emotional\, but these young people have it worse. One way or another\, their world has been turned upside down by superpowers. \n\n\n\nCamp North Star is about young superhumans who are spending their summer at a camp\, where young people with superpowers or people who are otherwise engaged in the superhuman community\, can come together and spend time with others who find themself in the same situation. \n\n\n\nThe world that Camp North Star takes place in\, has a lot in common with our own. However\, there is one significant difference. Superpowers exist in all shapes and sizes\, and whether by scientific breakthroughs\, alien mutations or magical means\, some people have extraordinary powers. \n\n\n\nYou will have the option of playing a camper or a camp counsellor. Most characters will have superpowers but some won’t\, although they’ll have another connection to the superhuman community\, such as having superhuman parents or siblings.

DESCRIPTION:Welcome to Whistle Creek\, where the train never stops\, only whistles\, and the beer flows stronger than the creek. \n\n\n\nThe saloon Wet Whistle is the village watering hole\, where people meet\, do business\, eat\, drink and gossip. Daniel Whistle has been the saloon’s proprietor and the town’s mayor for 10 years\, since his father\, the town’s founder David Whistle\, left us. Mr. Whistle has a good eye for business and offers more than just food\, drink and good company. A saloon with full service\, which guarantees to cover all your needs. Just ask the saloon girls. \n\n\n\nThe town’s official leadership is an elected council consisting of the town’s saloonkeeper\, marshal\, doctor and pastor. There are elections every 5 years\, and in the last year the number of qualified candidates has increased. Will there be competition\, or will the city council remain as it always have been? \n\n\n\nEvery two years the big poker tournament\, Silver Whistle\, is held. Mr Whistle has specially invited the two famous poker players Primrose Holden and Wesley Studs. There is also no shortage of local gamblers\, and some of them are downright gambling mad. The pot is big and the cards are hot! \n\n\n\nThese events are the back-drop for a larp set in 1889\, where we explore the relationships of a small\, seemingly tight knit community. There will be plenty of interpersonal intrigue as well. \n\n\n\nCome and join us for a dramatic weekend in Whistle Creek. SUMMARY:Emergency LARP 2024 - English run
DESCRIPTION:The wait is over: the popular LARP in the hospital setting is taking place again. Are you ready? \n\n\n\nThe doors swing open and the hospital bed is pushed hectically through the hallway. A doctor gives quick instructions. A nurse keeps the distraught relatives at a distance. Meanwhile\, the head of surgery and the hospital’s commercial director are fighting a shouting duel in the break room. And the shift has just begun… \n\n\n\nBased on popular hospital series such as Grey’s Anatomy and Emergency Room\, the Emergency Larp scenario offers a mix of drama and action. Playing style dramedy instead of realism. We don’t want to simulate a hospital that is as realistic as possible\, but rather play with its dramatic series version. The characters can and should show great emotions and occasionally fail spectacularly in their actions. Like “real” doctors\, nurses and patients\, your roles should still take themselves and their actions seriously. We try to convey the flair of a hospital through props and scenery (including hospital beds)\, but we don’t aim for a perfect 360° illusion.

DESCRIPTION:The larp 3 AM Forever return in Tampere as part of the A Week in Finland programming before Solmukohta! The larp runs on Tuesday 9th of April and happens between 16:00 and 24:00 in a Tampere venue. \n\n\n\nParticipating in the larp requires a separate sign up and participation fee. \n\n\n\nThe sign up opens in early February. The larp can accommodate 60-80 participants\, depending on how many sign ups we get. \n\n\n\nThe Orpheus Theatre is known for the hazy\, unreal midnight celebrations following its premieres and productions. Actors\, art students\, derelicts\, junkies\, the stars of yesterday\, and the promising talent of tomorrow all creep in for that sordid dance-floor magic\, for the slow\, horny chaos of drugged up 3 AM confusion. Emerging in the early hours\, steeped in bizarre regrets and haunting memories\, you wonder whether everything really happened.There are plenty of rumours that strange tragedies follow people at these parties\, and that being involved in the theatre’s productions is dangerous. Few bother to see the shows – small weird affairs with short runs\, and bizarre\, haunting imagery. They come for the partiesThere is a reason why The Orpheus is too strange to succeed\, yet pulls in the hungry\, the lonely\, and the yearning. The fae lurk in the shadows\, eager to touch the reality and spark of a human being. Eager to be changed by it. The fae feed every ambition and creative impulse\, no matter how dangerous or self-destructive. For the faeries at their eternal party\, there is no beauty as striking as that of human desperation.Dance\, human. Dance at the risk of having to dance for ever.3 AM Forever is a larp set at the party following a premiere at The Orpheus. Held annually in the Nordic countries since 1997\, the name of the event is Solmukohta\, Knutepunkt\, Knutpunkt\, or Knudepunkt depending on the country where it’s held. It has been a vital institution in fostering a Nordic role-playing identity\, and in establishing the concept of “Nordic larp” as a unique approach. Originating as a purely larp event\, the conference has since embraced role-playing games more generally. While today the emphasis is still on larp\, Solmukohta is also an event for workshops\, progressive new ideas\, community building and academic research around larp.

DESCRIPTION:A group of people have circulated in the mental health care system for a long time and are gathered at a remote location. They all attended the same youth camp several years ago\, and have since had great difficulty functioning normally in society. They have fragmented memories from the time before the camp\, they isolate themselves and show signs of delusions. \n\n\n\nOne half of the participants play possessed humans\, and the other half play their demons. They are paired together\, stuck with each other in a toxic and co-dependent relationship that has lasted since the youth camp. \n\n\n\nThe larp is set to present time and is about people who struggle to break free\, trying to reach out to other humans and create a connection\, and about the demons who are fighting to remain in control.The Devil You Know is a larp that touches on loneliness and isolation\, but the story is about finding hope and building friendship.
