DESCRIPTION:Welcome on the Demeter.\n\n\n\nBram Stokers classic gothic horror novel covers many different themes and subjects\, from suppressed sexuality\, death and decay\, to the clash of science and belief and the modern versus the ancient.  \n\n\n\nThe last voyage of the Demeter is told in chapter 7 of Dracula using excerpts from the Captain’s logbook and newspaper clippings. We have taken this part of the story to tell our very own version of it … maybe this is what really happened on the Demeter? \n\n\n\nDemeter is a four-day Gothic Horror Sailing larp\, where you can experience the „real“ story behind Bram Stoker’s Dracula traveling from Transylvania to England. \n\n\n\nThe ship will leave from Kappeln in Northern Germany\, close to the Danish border.

Luis Buñuel\, Salvador Dalí\, Lorca\, Ortega y Gasset were students and Marie Curie\, Einstein\, H.G. Wells and Stravinsky\, among others\, visited the student’s residence. Players will play some of these characters. \n\n\n\nThe Larp happens between the World Wars and before the Civil War\, in a fictional meeting between the male and female student residents with some visiting artists\, politicians\, and scientists. \n\n\n\nPlayers will play these bright artists\, scientists and thinkers.

DESCRIPTION:A festival for free form role playing games\, short larps\, and other kinds of shorter participatory storytelling. During one weekend we play\, socialise\, have fun\, and improvise stories together. From seasoned larpers to complete beginners – the festival is open for everyone. Come as you are\, and get to try on several different lives during one weekend. \n\n\n\nWhen you sign up\, you choose which scenarios you want to play\, and then receive a personalised schedule about two weeks before the event. The scenarios are a mixture of existing scenarios thoroughly chosen by our scenario team\, and new scenarios\, that anyone can contribute with. \n\n\n\nThe scenarios are between 2-4 hours\, and in between there are meals that are included in the event. There’s also a bar area where you can hang out. Saturday evening there will be a party.

Shit life and shit people and they all will be gone soon\, I tell myself to feel better. But there is something right outside my eyes\, something in the blackness\, closing in fast. The spacers say that everyone must give something. Pay the universe a price for the passage we take\, a sacrifice for safe travels. I pray that the universe will accept my payment for all I have done. That I can someday open my eyes and face what I see in the mirror. \n\n\n\nBlankspace is a symbolic horror larp about guilt\, hope and running away from the past. It is set in an unspecified retrofuturistic future in which the Earth is desolate and space is hostile to life. On a spaceship\, its crew and some settlers are travelling towards a colony that promises a simple\, carefree life and a new beginning. But the past catches up with them – in the shape of a monster that changes everyone who sees it. \n\n\n\nThe style follows the traditions of Nordic Larp and German Modern Larp. We are aiming for a mixture of character drama\, psychological horror and symbolism: Relationships take centre stage\, fear is generated by what you can’t see\, and many details have a metaphorical level. \n\n\n\nSign up is open until March 31 2024.

Obviously\, the only honorable thing to do is for him to abdicate and to pass his crown to one of his two adult children\, who had been raised under this delusion. But should the title go to the indolent younger son\, or to the elder daughter\, now a Labour/social democratic politician and somewhat ashamed of her “royal” heritage? \n\n\n\nThe larp is a family drama played over a three-course dinner. DESCRIPTION:Together At Last is set in a near-future world where extreme social distancing has been the norm for more than four decades. However\, a major research breakthrough has recently occured: a once-per-lifetime jab allowing you to safely meet other people in person for a limited period of time. The Department of Marriage has decided to use this technology to enhance the government-run romantic matching programme\, for the first time enabling its participants to actually meet in the flesh their computer-assigned romantic partners. \n\n\n\nDuring this programme you will receive this jab and enter a sterilised\, domed facility together with a cohort of other bachelors and bachelorettes. There\, a machine learning algorithm will set up a sequence of romantic relationships for you\, of various durations and with a diverse selection of partners. This will give your cortical implant enough data about your personality and preferences — sometimes things that even you don’t know about yourself — to enable the system to find your Forever Match\, who will then become your permanent life companion. DESCRIPTION:Registration open until 13th May 2024. \n\n\n\nThe Rites of Spring (RoS) is a live action roleplaying game (larp) based on works of English Folk Horror. Participants will take on the roles of the residents and visitors to Spring Island\, a place with a long and mysterious history\, and each individual will have their own goals to strive for and dark secrets to protect. Drawing on themes of the unknown\, insular community and of folklore and ritual\, there will be secrets to uncover\, island politics to compete over\, and ancient traditions to uphold (or break); all sprinkled liberally with a dusting of tension and fear. Each character will spend their days exploring the island and its mysteries\, preparing for the coming festival with their island societies and socialising with their “family” groups.. all in preparation for the Rites of Spring.
