There are so many awesome people out there\, who would like to design their own larp\, but are missing practical tools.How do you design a great character? How to create and facilitate an engaging workshop? What financial issues should I keep in mind? You are a website expert\, but have yet to write a plot? Give help\, get help! You’d like to create a classic fantasy event with a twist\, a sandbox horror regency larp\, a short form larp in a hot tub or something completely different: all shades of larp are beautiful and welcome!We want to co-create and learn from each other.So join us for four days of talks\, workshops\, networking and parties. We will meet in the Youth Hostel Wiesbaden\, near Frankfurt (Main)\, easily reachable for locals and internationals. Come and learn\, meet old and new friends and just have a great time.

SUMMARY:Stockholm Scenario Festival 2024
DESCRIPTION:A festival for free form role playing games\, short larps\, and other kinds of shorter participatory storytelling. During one weekend we play\, socialise\, have fun\, and improvise stories together. From seasoned larpers to complete beginners – the festival is open for everyone. Come as you are\, and get to try on several different lives during one weekend. \n\n\n\nWhen you sign up\, you choose which scenarios you want to play\, and then receive a personalised schedule about two weeks before the event. The scenarios are a mixture of existing scenarios thoroughly chosen by our scenario team\, and new scenarios\, that anyone can contribute with. \n\n\n\nThe scenarios are between 2-4 hours\, and in between there are meals that are included in the event. There’s also a bar area where you can hang out. Saturday evening there will be a party.

DESCRIPTION:Immersion is an international chamber larp festival in Turku\, Finland. We invite you all\, both newcomers and experienced larpers to come play with us! Immersion features short larps (under 4-5 hours) of high quality from different countries and good company in a weeked festival atmosphere. The larps do not require any preparation beforehand\, and no previous larp experience is needed for attending. DESCRIPTION:Solmukohta is a Nordic role-playing game conference and community event. Held annually in the Nordic countries since 1997\, the name of the event is Solmukohta\, Knutepunkt\, Knutpunkt\, or Knudepunkt depending on the country where it’s held. It has been a vital institution in fostering a Nordic role-playing identity\, and in establishing the concept of “Nordic larp” as a unique approach. Originating as a purely larp event\, the conference has since embraced role-playing games more generally. While today the emphasis is still on larp\, Solmukohta is also an event for workshops\, progressive new ideas\, community building and academic research around larp.
